Opened by Dr. Bolos in 1987, Abraam Animal Hospital has grown to become one of Tampa Bay's leading animal hospitals. Dr.Bolos as well as his skilled and friendly staff create an environment for personalized pet care and patient education. At Abraam Animal Hospital we strive to offer compassionate veterinary care, allowing your pet healthy and active life. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy. Our hospital is located at 4909 Ehrlich Road ( between Dale Mabry and Veterans Expressway) and is surrounded with a large pet play yard for accompanied pets to play before or after their visit. After a brief wait, owners and pets proceed into one of our exam rooms to see the doctor. Owners are encouraged to stay with their pets in the exam room, and to keep their hands on their pets whenever possible (within the boundaries of safety). We believe that this helps your pet feel a certain sense of security, and in fact, most pets actually enjoy coming to our hospital.

We provide a broad spectrum of procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. Our facility includes a on-site pharmacy, surgery suite, in-house X-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas. The state of the art surgical suite includes the safest anesthesia used in veterinary medicine today. We also have the best monitoring equipment to ensure the safety of any pets under anesthesia, including pulse oximeter monitoring and computerized Electro-cardiographic monitoring. We also have an in-house lab for many quick tests, next day lab results for more complex blood tests, X-ray equipment, access to ultrasound and a network of specialists. If your pet needs to stay at our hospital you can be rest assured that they will have nice, big, comfortable kennels. We encourage you to bring some old socks or t-shirts with your smell on it along with your pet so that your cat or dog will always have the comfort of knowing that you're there in spirit.
